How many of you are sitting right now hesitant to pick up the bible. We know we are told how it can move in our lives, but it’s intimidating, uncomfortable and we question, will He really speak to us?
Is the Bible something we can even understand?
Our guest today, Candice Reyes found herself in this exact position.
She is a speaker, fellow podcast host, author, mama, and follower of Jesus.
At an integral part of her life, she recognized that she could not possibly be alone in her hesitation to open the bible. She created a beautiful and practical way for us to get into the word, pray and worship. This is Candice’s story of finding faith and her amazing direction on how you can study the Bible and know our Lord.
When we come to know Jesus we just can’t help it, we want to share it everywhere. We also want our loved ones to know the truth.
When talking to loved ones or really anyone still in the church it is so incredibly tempting to just tell them all the facts. You want to share all the truth you have uncovered about church history, reliability, lies, facts, deception- truth.
But here is today’s big question- does sharing all the deep, dark dirty facts get others closer to Jesus? Does it help us? Is it what Jesus would want us to do?
Today we are talking about the consequences of sharing too much too soon with members and what Jesus truly wants. Wondering How to Talk to YOUR Family Still in the Church About Faith? Here is the Secret that May Open the Door to Truth.
Are you worried that your prayers will always go unheard? How do we talk to God in an honest and authentic way and how do we get answers?
Well first off, God is not going to give us a yes to stupid questions. So don’t ask Him things like, “God, please make this crazy, blaspheming thing true so I can join the club and be happy.” I say this from experience, He is not going to say okay.
But in today’s episode, we are going to be talking about the number one way to hear from God and how you can know God is listening.
Spoiler- It’s not in the heeps of blessings. It all has to do with the peace in the storm.
Yes, there is definitely some relief too. You are free in so many ways, but you just made the decision to abandon everything you ever knew about God or religion, in one failed swoop. This is big stuff and now you are starting this faith journey from scratch, but with some baggage.
Today, we are talking about the 5 W’s of who you are now as an exmo and the 2 Big questions to ask yourself to help guide you on your journey of faith.
Who are you, what do you want most, what words do we need to redefine, what are your biggest worries, and if you could wave a magic wand what would you wish for?
Today is all about discovering who you are now that you left the LDS church and taking you from lost and confused to a life with Jesus.
Many of you are just coming to walk with Jesus. It can be tricky figuring out how to bring God into all aspects of our home, and our life. Today we are talking with professional organizer and certified holistic health specialist, Natalie Mel. What do we get rid of, what do we keep and what do we set our foundation on?
Natalie is going to walk us through all this and more about her walk with God and inviting God into all aspects of her life.
Have you ever heard this? I have. I admit I am a researcher. An analyzer. A total enneagram five.
I like to observe. Act first and then thin?- not so much me. I probably way overthink everything. And because of this, I was often called an old soul. I kinda prized myself on this.
That along with the teachings of pre-existence, and bam- I was convinced of my superiority, my understanding, my age, my imprint on this universe as someone who had hung out with God.
I had things in order. Even if I didn’t really have much faith in God, at least at one point we had hung together.
This is going to sound crazy to some of you who either did not grow up with faith, were in a different religion, or have only known the Christian faith.
But to others of you, well, this is going to sound very familiar.
Today we are talking about John 1:1 and how as we humble ourselves and recognize our size and truth. How BIG is our God?
