Interview with Cristina Emigh
Are our past experiences too big? Do all our trials mean we still have grace?
How do we use the things we have been through to help others?
“It was I, I, I, and God is like, girl, …This isn’t about you. You just share your story and whoever needs to listen will listen. …There is a lot of work to be done for the kingdom and we are in a good position to do that…”
4 Great Takeaways from our Chat…
-
God isn’t this judgmental admonishing God. He is just, merciful, and full of Grace.
God did something for us, something so big that changed everything. All the judgment that is due to us for all our sins, and we have many, God sent His son Jesus to pay the price for it all. Everything we have done and will do, the debt has been paid. He loves us that much that He created a way to save us. It is by our actions that we show our faith, but our salvation is by our grace.
2. The Lord pursues us. Each of us.
“I never want to diminish the significance of how God pursued me. ”
3. We are all walking around with past sins. It is not for us to judge others or admonish ourselves.
Despite any shame or guilt, we hold on to, we must know God has already forgiven us. He is waiting for us to recognize His plan and His will at work.
4. It’s not about you- it’s about Him and His glory. How does he want to use us? How does He want to use our story?
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
